So what happens from here? When we receive your application you'll receive an email confirming that your application has been sent and read.

Applying for a tenancy at Hydes?

If your application is of interest expect one of our Operations Managers to get in touch with you within 1 week. They will want to meet with you informally at first to find out more about you and your career history as well as your aspirations.

Next step? We would ask you to visit a pub as a customer (as many times as you like) and then complete a business plan which you would present to our Tied Trade Director.

Applying for a job at Hydes?

From here, short-listed candidates may be asked to undertake a telephone screen – we will contact you by phone to arrange a suitable date and time. Applicants that proceed past this stage will then be invited to an interview with their potential line manager. 

After that -for roles at the Brewery or for House Management positions -you will be asked to complete a personality profile (it's very enlightening and you get to keep a copy).

At second interview for office and managerial roles, expect to have to put together a short presentation or business plan. You will also take a numerical and verbal reasoning test.
