Why Hydes?
In addition to the Hydes managed estate, we have over 50 tenanted public houses running from the borders of Staffordshire, throughout Greater Manchester and as far a field as North Wales and Lancashire; and just like the Hydes managed estate, there are a huge range of options on the menu.You could find your name above the door of the locals' favourite watering hole, a busy town-centre tavern, or a specialist food pub where the Beef Wellington competes with the beer for the customers' attention.
We aim to give you the space to run your own business, whilst being on-hand to provide support and expert advice whenever you may need it. The best of both worlds is there for the taking: the freedom to realise your own personal vision, with the backing and resources of an award-winning brewer and pub retailer. We're big enough to compete and small enough to care.
- Hydes will support tenants in achieving Cask Marque status and will pay for the first year's subscription
- Hydes will pay for a new tenant's first year of BII membership, as an associate member.
- Hydes have a commitment to develop their tenants' capabilities through training and coaching. All Hydes scheduled courses are free to Tenants.
- We can provide payroll services, free health and safety advice, buying clubs and much much more..... just what you expect from a family pub operator....
Our tenancy agreement is summarised below:
- One year rolling tenancy with a rent review in year three. Annual index-linked underlying (RPI) increase. A full review will take place after three years.
- Rent and Goods Paid weekly in advance by direct debit.
- AWP machines split 50/50 on all machine profit, using Hydes nominated supplier.
- Drinks tie for draught and packaged beer, lager, cider, stout and flavoured alcoholic beverages. Free of tie on wines, spirits and minerals.
